Privacy notice
What this site actually collects, who handles a purchase, and how Europe and UK visitors can ask about their data.
This is a practical notice, not legal advice. The site owner can update it. Last updated October 4, 2026.
Who runs the site
The Blue Hour at thebluehour.studio is a static website. Dressmor, LLC (Renton, Washington) is the company behind the Stripe account used for the guide. We do not publish a street address on this site.
There is no contact email or form on the site. Questions go through the contact method already published on the About page.
What the site is
The pages are static files hosted on Vercel. Browsing them does not create an account, and we do not run a newsletter. The email field on the homepage is disabled and does not send anything. MailerLite is not connected.
We do not run ads or Google AdSense on this site.
The $9 guide
The only thing for sale here is the Hard Bop Starter, a digital PDF, for $9. Checkout is Stripe’s hosted page: buy.stripe.com/14AeVffrtaGB9HOeh573G03. Stripe collects the payment and a billing address. For buyers in Washington, Washington sales tax is added on top of the $9. After you pay, Stripe shows its own confirmation page with a Google Doc PDF export link for the download.
We do not store card numbers. Stripe is the payment processor and holds the card data. We do not sell other products on this site, and we do not sell the artist portraits.
Amazon links
Some outbound Amazon links use the Amazon Associates tag dressmor0b-20. If you buy something after following one of those links, we may earn a commission. Amazon, not this site, handles that purchase. Bandcamp links are ordinary outbound links for the artist or label; we do not treat them as an affiliate program.
Portraits and other pages
Artist portraits are licensed photos from Wikimedia Commons, with credits on the artist cards and in the portrait credits. We do not sell those photos. Radio, tour, and video links leave this site for the station, festival, or channel you open.
Other services the pages load
The HTML loads fonts from Google Fonts (fonts.googleapis.com and fonts.gstatic.com): EB Garamond, Source Sans 3, and IBM Plex Mono. Google receives the usual connection data (such as IP address) when your browser requests those font files.
We did not find a Vercel Analytics script, an advertising script, or any other analytics tag in the site source. A meta tag named impact-site-verification is present for site verification only; it does not load an Impact tracking script. The site registers a first-party service worker (/sw.js) that caches pages on your device so the shell can load offline. That cache stays in your browser.
Cookies
These pages do not set analytics or advertising cookies, and there is no cookie-banner script. The service worker is local storage in your browser, not a tracking cookie. Google Fonts, Stripe Checkout, and Amazon (if you follow a link) are separate sites and may set their own cookies when you use them. Stripe cookies, if any, are on Stripe’s checkout, which we do not control.
Europe, the UK, and GDPR
If you buy the guide, the lawful basis for handling the purchase details needed to complete that sale is the contract (taking payment and delivering the PDF). Running and securing the site itself is a legitimate interest.
If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, you can ask for access to, correction of, or deletion of purchase-related data we hold. Card numbers are held by Stripe, not by us. Use the contact method on the About page. We will pass a request about payment records to Stripe when Stripe is the one holding them.
Stripe and Vercel may process data in the United States, so information related to a visit or a purchase can be transferred there. We do not sell personal information.
Children
The site is not directed at children.
